Career Development Seminar & “Blue Drinks” Social

Join AFS for our 4th installment of the Career Development Seminar Series followed by the interdisciplinary “Blue Drinks” social!
Mark Celedonia, current President of the Washington – British Columbia Chapter of AFS, will be our seminar speaker. He has worked as a Fish and Wildlife Biologist at U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for 6 years, spending most of this time using fine-scale acoustic tracking and GIS to evaluate behavior, spatial distribution and habitat use of fish, especially juvenile Chinook salmon in Lake Washington and the Lake Washington Ship Canal. Mark has a Master of Environmental Studies from The Evergreen State College and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
Blue Drinks will be a joint social event with the Coastal Society, a student group associated with the School of Marine and Environmental Affair (SMEA). Keg, wine and hors d’oeurves provided. Purchase AFS pint glasses for your drink! $6 each or $10 for two.
